Living in harmony with all the creatures in the garden may take some getting used to!
I’m blogging about my imperfect garden over at Simple- Green-Frugal Co-op today, err actually it’s tomorrow there
Caution, photos may not have anything to do with anything I posted about.

I love the first picture especially, and your new blog header. I guess I’m generally partial to yellow/orange flowers. And how did you get close enough for the last picture? Amazing.
Mangochild – thank you, the photography credit has to be given to my daughter, she takes at least half of the photos that appear on this blog.
The vegetable garden is sprinkled with flowers for the beneficials and for us too! But as I look at the color combinations, the orange and golden nasturiums or the orange cosmos against the backdrop of the purple podded pole beans is stunning. Same with the sunflowers in the corn patch – just beautiful.
Did you mean get close to the calf? He’s an orphan, and he drinks from a nipple bucket, so it is easy to get close to him as he thinks we are his family
But the zoom lens helps too!
You take AMAZING photos! Can I come for dinner? What a wonderful harvest.
Jessika, give the credit to my daughter, she takes tons of photos. Sometimes I see a good subject and let her know, she is glad to oblige.
You can come for dinner anytime, just bring your heifer luck with you, I want a my cow to have a heifer this time
Ha! You were really starting to scare me….I was certain that you were the most accomplished woman I knew….don’t get me wrong…not that you aren’t, but I thought man, she does it all…..and her photography is beautiful! My DD is a professional photographer and just printed her photos from Africa.

this is the photo she printed for me….she took out all the color except the sky reflecting in their eyes! Very cool!
I do love your daughter’s work please tell her to keep it up!
