Great post over at the other site, Nita…and yum! Didn’t know kiwis would grow there. Love seeing the dogs working so hard at helping you :)

Robbyn, I gotta try something exotic after seeing your stuff! The boys think they are going to get in trouble for eating the kiwi, when they see us coming – they quit eating. Although they are worried that the coyotes will beat them to them, so they work them over pretty good!

That video is great. I thought it was only our crazy dog that raided the crops. I finally figured out why all the low hanging plums disappeared this year. Yup the dog ate them. But he also loves to eat dandelion roots and leaves and occasionally digs them out of the yard so I guess it is worth a few plums.

Is that kiwi jam? Oh, the possibilities!

But its not really exotic if grows at home, is it? Just different.

I pulled my 10 year old kiwi vines – they never produced.

Just found you and it looks like we live in the same neck of the woods. :) I love your blog and I’ll be back.

We’re moving soon and I’m hoping for some room to plant some fruit trees & berries. It just so happens that I ate my first hardy kiwi just last week and I loved it. Didn’t realize they were so easy to grow, so maybe I’ll have to give that a try.

apparently they are dog friendly fruit? I understand grapes can be toxic?

We bought two kiwis (male & female) for our elderly neighbor. His garden is his life.
I think they may have died last winter, tho.

I love your blog and check in frequently, but the use of “nazi” (re: jar nazi) is quite offensive to the community of people who actually have had to live with the repercussions of the true nazis.

Sam, sorry to have offended you. I wonder how Jerry Seinfeld dealt with this issue on his popular TV show? Again, sorry to have offended you and anyone else who did not speak up.
