Chris, I agree on the ice formation, too pretty for words. That’s Ty, Jane’s babysitter and cow mentor. Although he is looking more like tender steaks to me…I love the steers at this age, they are so sweet and mellow, well, most of the time.

We lucked out this year – we always had snow cover when it froze – and it has stayed green all winter. I didn’t even soil mulch my root crops.
