Jane really is a beautiful animal. I can only credit her owner for all the love and dedication she gave to Della, to amount to such a beautiful prodigy. You deserve it Moh!!
Nope. And I haven’t seen it too often, the last time I had a calf with scours I treated it with Arsenicum Album. But different types of scours take different treatments. Alternative Treatments for Ruminant Animals, by Paul Detloff, DVM has a great list of scour types and corresponding treatments.

How do you get such exquisite photographs? They are beautiful – and isn’t Jane a lovely heifer!
Susan, i steal them from my kid! I take some of the photos usually of cow poop and grass, but the more artistic ones are her doing.
I agree Jane is one pretty girl!
Wonderful!
Goody, a Jane fix!

I love when the squash comes up and has that little “cap” – once I saw a squash seedling throw off it’s cap with this little *thwap* sound.
Awesome.
Did Jane ever get scours as a calf? If so, how do you treat for it?

Hope your hand is feeling better.
