Susan, the sun has hardly made any appearances this year – so when it comes out we have to run out and take a photo! We have reached 80F twice this year
Beautiful, as usual. I’m jealous that you already have a tomato on. Mine are just blooming now. Of course, it it doesn’t warm up we may never get any.
The blossoms- Hawthorn? The holly I know.
Judy, that’s Bellstar the earliest tomato, here anyway. But I’m cheating it’s in the greenhouse, otherwise I doubt the plants would be blooming.
Yep that’s Hawthorn, the scent from the Holly is permeating the landscape and it is heavenly. The parsnip blooms don’t have much scent, but the insects were finding them in record time.
"Whole cultures have risen and fallen because they couldn't figure out how to make all the area like the good spot, and instead made all the good spots like the bad ones." Joel Salatin, Salad Bar Beef
Wow, everything is so lush and green there… and so brown and dead here. I’m jealous!
Also, could you please flick the bug off the tomato? It’s driving me nuts!
Jenj, the horrible price we pay for all that rain is all that green
I had to look at the photo, that’s part of the blossom not a bug
Beautiful photos! It’s such a wonderful time of year. Thank you for sharing!
Geraldine, you’re welcome!
Look at that grass! My sheep would die from shock. Lovely sunrise/set photo. It looks so restful.

I hope it warms up for you!
Such lovely images, just what I needed after a long day. The first one is my favorite, so peaceful. Thanks! Karen from CT
Karen, you’re entirely welcome
Gorgeous photos! I would almost be willing to put up with all that rain to have that green grass.
Susan Lea, I sure get a bath building fence
