Oh, geez! No offense, but I really hope that stays down your way! We’re actually having a break in the rain at the moment. I really don’t want any more snow, after what we dealt with in January.
Supposedly about 40 right now near Mount Angel, but the wind has a real bite and the gully-washer showers have all had lots of ice in them. Should be on the tractor, but the woodstove keeps calling my name…
Snowy Saturday indeed. Think we received about a foot today with drifts easily hitting 3 ft…. Poor pig couldn’t make it through the drifts, so I will be plowing her a path tomorrow as I was out all day. Plus plowing the driveway. And likely the neighbours driveway too. Good excuse to play on the tractor!
Down here at the bottom left of the state I got it all yesterday, snow, rain, hail, sunshine, and rainbows. It was a good day to keep the stove well fed.
Sunny day yesterday in northern CA, but cold. 19 degrees this a.m. Can hardly believe I am saying this. We could use some snow or rain, A strange winter for us. Have a well and garden, so more rain would be appreciated.
We have had snow today too, just as we thought ours was going as we got up to around 37F, another cold week with more snow expected here, but then again we are far, far away in Latvia.
We have seen the first signs of spring here though in the branches of the trees seeming to glow red – I must find out why they do that.

Come on, Spring!!
Amy. yes! Come on Spring! It was so nice yesterday even the flies made an appearance! Looks like we might get about 6″, I hope not!
Hopefully it’ll miss you guys
Wow! We are near Seattle and have none of that here!
We must have got your leftovers here in Prineville. Same situation…60 degrees during the day and snow by 9pm! Sigh…..
The weather is just amazing this year. We had 80 F a few days ago. Today about 60, tomorrow a little colder then back up in the 70′s again.
