Wow! I took pictures a few days ago of a single ice drop on a strand of cobweb, which I thought was pretty exciting…but you got a whole strands of jewels there!
Ice, especially in the early morning sunrise, is SO pretty. As long as I’m not seeing it from flat on my back.
We started our winter off with ice rain here too and such a glorious day after it was too. The silver birch fair sparkled like over sized chandeliers. I dropped what I was doing to go for a walk it was that beautiful. Those are the times when I feel really rich, all those sparkling diamonds for free, to all those with the time to watch, even if it is only briefly. Hope your Yaktrax are bearing up, mine have just needed a bit of repair and I don’t think they will last another year. Must get some before they sell out
Wow, you found some beautiful little oddments in the cold! Amazingly enough, it stayed above 40 at our farm near Mt Angel, and the sunshine took it over 50 down between Albany and Corvallis! Ain’t nature grand?
It’s that dang Gorge wind bringing the cold We don’t get the wind, but the chill pulls up all the draws from the river and keeps up pretty cold It did get up to 34 yesterday
"Whole cultures have risen and fallen because they couldn't figure out how to make all the area like the good spot, and instead made all the good spots like the bad ones." Joel Salatin, Salad Bar Beef
Very pretty, stunning actually.. c
Ice definitely make the world all sparkly, but WOW it can be so dangerous to be out-and-about in. Be careful!
Wow, those are just beautiful…..even if annoying.

When I first looked at the picture I was thinking it was ice cubes balanced on a branch. I need new glasses or some rest…or both!
Beautiful though!
Beautiful!
I love the string of diamonds!
