This sentimant really makes me laugh- good luck for a merry xmas- especially when family is involved. We allready had one Bergmanesque marital primal scream, xmas eve. But all is well now and a peaceful Merry Christmas, just talked to another friend who got into it with a sister about boyfriend stuff that happened 30 years ago and they are over it today too, so thanks for the post, maybe I’m the only one to see the humour in it. Merry Christmas, Lorena

Oh, that all looks and sounds so delicious that I want to get into the kitchen right now and bake pies! Shame it’s late at night and the only apples I have aren’t good ones for cooking.

Of course, the hardest part for me would be leaving the apples alone after they’ve been dusted with cinnamon. I love to snack on apple slices that way!

Happy Holidays to your family as well! And thank you so much for the pie crust crimping tip. It worked beautifully and saved me so much time on pie-baking-day.
