    Ooooh, there’s nothing quite like a barn stuffed full of fresh hay to see you through the winter, is there? I’m glad this year’s haying appears to have gone well!

    is that bobcat managing a compost/manure pile or are you giving hugelkultur beds a try…? Always wanted to incorporate some sepp holzer into my practices.

      theShane, it’s the deep bedding pack from winter getting stacked for next year. A passive compost pile similar to hugelkultur beds without the planting. 🙂
