Tough way to add to my feather collection…

    The jays here went into the hen house during the day and ate the eggs. We have a feather collection now, too. They were too fast for the cats, but not my DH

      Emily, you know the scrub jays do that here but these guys never do…don’t know why, but I like the Steller’s actually the Scrub Jays just make me mad. I’m always glad the Scrub Jays leave for the winter.

    We are always telling our cats, furry things good, feathered things not good. Not sure they really listen though. The birds around us aren’t that much of a nuisance and they have it tough over winter and so we don’t mind so much. There is enough for us all, but voles on the other hand……..

    That is so saddening, isn’t it? The cats never seem to catch a house sparrow or a starling….
